St Peter's Church, Manor Road

About Us

We are a small but friendly congregation who meet for worship at 9.15am every Sunday. Our service is a traditional language communion service with three hymns, once a month it is slightly shorter and less formal for our 2nd Sunday in the month Family Service.
Afterwards we enjoy a tea or coffee with biscuits and a chat.
NO Family Service in August - next one Sunday 8th September

Tea and Chat

Every Monday afternoon from 2.00pm (except Bank Holidays!) we hold a 'Tea and Chat session at St. Peter's. This is a great opportunity to meet other people and talk about what interests you. Anyone is welcome, just come along, we usually finish around 3.30pm. It's amazing what you learn at the group!

Special Event

NEW FRONTAL!

We were pleased to dedicate a new Altar frontal and lectern fall on St. Peter's Day, 30th June.

This time we have had purple ones made for use in Advent and Lent and again these are a gift in memory of a former faithful worshipper, Monica Pecksen, wife of our late former Pro-Warden, Eric.

They have been made by the Vicar's sister-in-law, Elaine Bradshaw, who made the green ones in memory of Eric, and are another beautiful addition to our Church.
